Hire Mel's Marvellous Tea Shop

Our pastel blue caravan is available for hire for your event. It has been transformed into a mini kitchen with a 5 food hygiene rating. The van is a perfect focal point on your drive or in your garden where it can be used to serve loose leaf teas, freshly ground coffee and our delightful scones.

Hire Vintage Crockery

Our vintage crockery is available to hire for your next party or event. We have over one hundred crockery place settings and about 30 teapots. These vintage pieces of crockery are matched by colour and theme. We can supply the crockery and match it for you into place settings.

Ask us about our beautiful vintage afternoon tea parties where our vintage props, tablecloths, covers, ribbons can transform the venue and impress your guests. Our deliciously indulgent afternoon tea treats are home baked by Mel and served on vintage china.

Mel is the creative force behind Mel’s Marvellous Cakes - a self-taught baker with a serious knack for turning flour, sugar, and a bit of magic into edible works of art. From intricate celebration cakes to scones, Mel puts love (and a good dose of buttercream) into every single bake.

Based local to Surrey and loved widely, she’s your go-to for cakes that taste as amazing as they look.

Mel’s also mad about vintage parties, bringing the charm with her beautiful crockery, quirky décor, and pastel-blue tea shop on wheels.
